ABC's
of Church Management
ABC's of Church Management
was created in 1998. It was created on the premise to provide
accurate, researched information regarding federal and state
compliance issues for churches as well tax information
for churches and clergy. Risk management issues were added in
2000.
ABC's of Church Management
has served the churches of the Church of God of Anderson,
Indiana since its inception. It has only been recently that
ABC's material is becoming available to the church at large.
Rev. Dr. Julie A. Nance
and Rev. Dr. Richard W. Shockey are the original founders. Dr.
Nance has completed a PhD in Church Law and is certified in risk
management for churches. Prior to his passing in 2005, Dr.
Shockey provided the platform through which ABC's could
distribute its resources.
It has been the desire of
the Board of Directors of ABC's of Church Management to create
and provide all churches, no matter their size, with usable
materials. Our passion has been the mid to smaller churches but
we address the needs of all size congregations.
